The design ideas of costume design for Macbeth is form Modern photograph. There is the dark brown leather punk and rock style out of my mind. So I did more research for punk, steampunk, rock leather. Depending on the Script of Macbeth, I still keep a part of elements in that time period.

The Way of the World is a play written by the English playwright William Congreve.
It is a costume history project setting at 1700.
It is a costume history project setting at Charenton Asylum, France 1808.
The ideas of costume design for ‘The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui ‘is depending on the historic background of the script and material creative. The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui is a 1941 play by the German playwright Bertolt Brecht. It chronicles the rise of Arturo Ui, a fictional 1930s Chicago mobster and his attempts to control the cauliflower racket by ruthlessly disposing of the opposition.
The world of Chicago mobster gives me a visual world of the play, depending the 1930s Chicago mobster, after I finger out the gang leader at that period, I separates the characters to several groups, such as mobsters group lead by Arturo Ui, under Old Dogsborough control the business, between two group dealers and officers of city. When I was doing the research for the costume of 1930s period, all the beautiful professional suit and pants, and the mobster's photo shot from some old newspaper are impressed me, but I want to do some interesting thing for my mobster’s world characters.
For the material, I use the latex fabric to make the costume pieces, even I know it is a risk, I still want to give the audience visual and feel which is different from historic costumes. In order to keep the period costume, I still use basic fabrics and pattern for most characters, but I give the main characters latex fabric, for example, Arturo Ui, Old Dogsborough.
